Bask in the spray of Cumberland Falls! Known as the “Niagara of the South,” this massive 68-foot-tall and 125-foot-wide waterfall is a beloved favorite, and once you visit for yourself, you will understand why.
Cumberland Falls is one of a handful of places in the world where those willing to venture out at night can see a rare Moonbow for themselves. A Moonbow is a rainbow that forms in the mists of the Falls from the light of a full moon, rather than the light of the sun. The Moonbow can be seen two nights before, two nights after, and the night of the full moon each month.
Helpful tip before planning your trip: it must be a clear night in order to see the Moonbow!
The top viewing platform to see Cumberland Falls is ADA Accessible. A paved parking lot is available at the entrance to Cumberland Falls, with a concrete sidewalk turning into large smooth stones around the viewing area.
